Before you start: Birds Eye Trading runs inside NinjaTrader Desktop, so you need that installed first. Download NinjaTrader if you do not have it yet. You will also need the machine ID it gives you under Help → About — you register that when you buy a plan, and your licence is bound to it.

Set-up takes about ten minutes. Steps 1 to 3 you only do once.

1. Get your licence key and the add-on. Sign in, then open Settings → License for your licence key, and Settings → Download for the NinjaScript archive that holds the indicator and the strategy.
2. Import the add-on into NinjaTrader. In the NinjaTrader Control Center choose Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On…, pick the file you downloaded, and let the import finish. Restart NinjaTrader when it asks you to.
3. Enter your licence key. Open the Birds Eye Trading settings in NinjaTrader and paste the key from your account. The key is bound to the machine ID registered to your account, so enter it on that machine — Help → About in NinjaTrader shows the machine ID if you need to check which one it is. Once the key validates, the indicator and the strategy unlock.
4. Train the model in the Strategy Analyzer. Go to New → Strategy Analyzer, select the Birds Eye Trading strategy, then set the instrument and the date range you want it to learn from and run it. A longer range gives the model more to work with. When it finishes, the results grid and the cumulative net profit curve show you how that period would have played out.
5. Add the indicator to your chart. Open a chart for the instrument you just trained on, right-click it, choose Indicators…, add Birds Eye Trading and click OK. Entries, exits and the confidence percentage for each signal are then drawn directly on the chart.
6. Switch it on in Chart Trader. Right-click the chart and enable Chart Trader if it is not already showing, then turn on the Birds Eye Trading button. Until you do, the tools mark up the chart but place no orders.

Going live for the first time? Run it on a Sim101 account until you are comfortable with how it behaves.

NinjaTrader only. Birds Eye Trading is a NinjaScript add-on, so it runs inside NinjaTrader Desktop and nowhere else.

Whenever you like, from the Plan page in your account. Cancelling stops the plan renewing; it does not cut your access off on the spot. You keep everything until the end of the period you have already paid for, and that date is shown on the same panel.

Change your mind before then and Keep my plan puts it back with nothing lost.

No — payments are not refundable, so please use the plan that suits you and start on Monthly if you are unsure.

Moving from Monthly to Annual is the exception, and it does not cost you what you have already paid. The unused part of your current month is worked out to the day and taken off the Annual price, so you only pay the difference. You can start that from the Plan page.

Your licence is tied to one machine ID at a time, so moving it is a matter of registering the new one. Open Settings → License, put the new computer’s ID into Machine ID and update it. The licence starts validating from that machine and stops on the old one.

In NinjaTrader the machine ID is under Help → About. You can move it 2 times in any 30-day period; if you need another move after that, get in touch and we will do it for you.
